a pine cone shortage ends in diaster

i can just see this sparking a bunch
of low-budget horror films,
with titles like “the day they went nuts”:

“Squirrels have bitten to death a stray dog
which was barking at them in a Russian park,
local media report.”

maybe there will be 'squirrel week'
instead of 'shark week' on the discovery channel, or
maybe they could just film squirrels attacking a shark,
that would be genius.
